Day 7 – Tuesday

Weight
I weight myself this morning, the weight was the same as the day before. I don’t understand why but I guess that is the reson why you shouldn’t weight yourself every day.

Weight on day 06 and 07: 75.5 kg = 166.44 pounds
Lost so far:  -2 kg (-4,40 pounds)
Day 01: 77.5 kg (at 173cm) = 170.85 pounds (at 5,67feet)

Breakfast
In the mornig until noon I ate 1 pear, 1 kiwi fruit, 1 small apple, 1 banana, 2 kakis (japanese persimmon)

Lunch
80gr mixed unsalted nuts (almonds, walnuts, cashew nuts, hazelnuts, brazil nuts)

2 hours later: a big salad consisting of lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes with a nice dressing consisting of olive oil, mustard and lemon. A bit salt, as well.

Day 1:
Weight: 170
Unfortunately for me, I started the diet in the middle of a cold. Or maybe that’s fortunate. I’ve had a headache all day but it’s hard to pinpoint if it’s the lack of the caffeine that’s usually present or the sickness. Either way, hello Advil.
BREAKFAST:
In the morning I juiced an orange, apple, carrot and celery. All one each. It was surprisingly tasty. Before I left for work I ate an orange.
LUNCH:
At work I had:
- 1 carrot
- 2 celery stalks
- handful of almonds
- handful of sunflower seeds
- persian cucumber
- handful of grape tomatoes.
I was basically grazing the whole time at work. Everything was pretty bland but hey, that’s what I signed up for.  But by the time I left I was already starving for dinner.
DINNER:
I was less than a day in at this point and ready to eat my neighbors cat for it’s meat. Luckily I remembered Nicki made a kick ass salad dressing just for me and it was sitting in the fridge. No cat tonight. Here’s what I prepare:
- Salad consisting of lettuce, spinach, carrots, tomatoes, cucumber, bell pepper, sunflower seeds, quinoa, in a apple cider vinegar/garlic/sun dried tomato dressing. It was good.
- I also made a quick side dish of half a cucumber and bell pepper that was left over from the salad. I put some lemon and sea salt and called it an “apet-teaser.”
- For dessert I had a handful of trailmix and watermelon.
Day one in the bag. No big deal. So you eat fruit and vegetables all day. Anyone can do that. Well, easier said than done.

Dinner (before 7pm)
I will have a light dinner only with some of the fruit I had prepared and didn’t eat.

Activity

2x 20 min fast walk in the morning and evening


Summary

Today I felt extremely tired. I counted my calories and realized that I haven’t eaten enough (just about 1200 kcal). I need to be more careful and eat more. I was feeling a bit unmotivated because of the same number on my scale. I will weigh myself only every other day. Well, I will try. :)
