Summary

Very interesting. I went to bed really early, at about 10pm, because I was extremely tired. My muscles felt sore and my feet hurt. My back was also hurting. I woke up at 4.30 am. I felt still a bit tired but stood up and weighed myself. The scale showed: 73,4kg. Then I decided to go back to sleep and woke up at 9.30 am. I weight myself again and my scale showed: 92,9kg. I guess it is very important to get a good and long night’s rest. I was pretty hungry and went for my 1,30h walk. I wonder if it is good to have a day off from training. I will rest on Sundays once I reach the 72,0 kg, which will hopefully be withing the next 5 days.

Total: 1,50 hours

Summary

Excellent! Finally I’ve reached the 73,0 kg. 1 more kg to go and I will have reached my first goal. All in all I know this now for a fact: You can only loose weight when eating fresh healthy foods AND doing sport. Remember how I was struggeling the first couple of days when I was not training enough and how I had to reduce my food more and more to lose weigt? Now I’m eating more (and better) and I’m constanly losing weight. The best thing is that I don’t have to go swim, jog or do anything I usually wouldn’t enjoy doing (at least not yet). I’m just walking long walks, every day! 1 hour minimum. Mostly, since 14 days, I have been walking at least 1,30h every day. I don’t want to sound too sure yet, BUT I think I’m on the right track this time.

I’m doing an almost only fruit day today again because the weekend is coming up with a party and a brunch on sunday with friends and I will try to eat healthy but I know I won’t be able (and don’t even want) to stick to the program. On monday I will do another fruit day. I can’t wait to lose more and more weight. This time I will be successfull, yeahhhh.

Total: 2 hours

Summary

Starting to see results yeah! I have been training now for 13 days. I’m getting more in shape and I’m sleeping better since I’m really tired when going to bed. To do my fast walking (mainly in the morning) helps me to feel good throughout the day. I still need to motivate myself to go walking because it is really cold outside, but once I’m outside and especially once I’m finished with the daily minimum workout, I feel excellent.
Also, all the healthy food is starting to pay off, I actually am starting to have cravings for fresh raw food. And I’m looking frward to prepare myself a nice big salad at noon or in the evening. Doing that much workout I can eat much more I noticed and that way I can have my salad with a lot of nuts. Today at noon I had to eat outside in a restaurant and the only vegetarian meal from the lunch menu were cheese noodles. I felt bad for having them and afterwards in the afternoon I felt really tired. But, I kept telling myself that I can’t continue just living from fruits and vegetables and to have a “normal” meal from time to time is absolutely ok. We’ll se what my weigh will be tomorrow.

Glad to have lost some weight since yesterday. I’m feeling pretty good. I can feel my body building muscles. It’s so cold in the morning for walking but I keep telling myself that with each step I take I will be that much closer to my goal. I had a good friend telling me “Did you lose weight?” I don’t think that -3,5 kg are visible but at the moment it feels great to have some positive feedback. It’s not just fat I’m losing but I’m also shaping my body. This time I#m on the right track.

The holidays were fine. I ate a bit more than usual but did my daily workout and walked the 1 hour and 30 minutes. I’m glad that I managed to keep my weight the same. I think it is important to give the body enough energy by eating healthy and healthy portions. Now back on track. I will be at 72 kg by day 21.

Again just 0,1kg less. Eh, I’m used to this by now. And really tired, lacking so much energy. Walking was so hard this morning and I was way slower than usually. At least I’m losing weight and can eat more food than before. I’m looking forward to the New Year’s celebration today since I will be eating even more healthy food. That way I will have more energy tomorrow morning.
Wishing a great year to everybody! See ya in 2010.

Total: 1 hour 30 minutes

Summary

This morning after I weight myself I really hated my body. I felt that all my efforts are worth nothing. I still went walking but I was extremely frustrated. I lost only -0,1kg since yesterday! I think I will need to walk hours and hours every day to really start losing weight. Maybe I shouldn’t weigh myself at all anymore.
Maybe I built up muscle which, as everybody knows, weighs more than fat. And actually my muscles are a bit sore and I do feel my thighs from walking more than double the amount I used to (from 40minutes per day to 90minutes per day). Maybe that’s just an excuse why I’m not losing more, who knows.
I’m so tired of not seeing good results. Only -3kg in 26 days! Most people would manage at least double the amount if they were doing what I do. Why is my body so stubborn? Oh well, I guess if losing weight was easy everybody could do it and it wouldn’t be a multi-billion business.

Anyway, I will continue and finish these 20 days. I hate to stop inbetween and want to finish what I’ve started. And compare results again. In 16 days.
